IIT JAM 2024 - Application likely to be opened from 20th Nov. 2023
The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) will be starting the window for modification of JAM 2024 application  from 20th Nov. 2023.  All the registered candidates will be able to make necessary modifications at the official website of JAM 2024 - jam.iitm.ac.in

IIT JAM 2024 Registration

This year Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is responsible for conducting the IIT JAM 2024 Exam and now the institute has started with the IIT JAM Registration 2024 process through JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS). This year around 3000 seats in IITs are announced for the academic year 2024-25.

The IIT JAM 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 11th Feb. 2024. It will be for Chemistry, Geology and Mathematics in the morning first session where as Biotechnology, Economics, Mathematical Statistics and Physics will be conducted in the afternoon session.  Candidates can appear in either one or two test papers. Candidate can appear for two papers only if they are not scheduled in the same session.

After the exam, the resposnses and answer key will be made available through JOAPS login, and the result for the same will be declared on March 22, 2024 and the score cards will be made available on or after April 2, 2024

JAM 2024 examination will be conducted in eight zones.  The names of these eight zones with the list of zone-wise examination centres, same will be displayed on the official website of JAM 2024.  Candidate needs to specify their first, second and third choice of cities at the time of applying for the examination.  When the choice of the first city is made, then the zone gets determined and the candidates may able to choose the second and third choice of exam centre from the same zone.
